I just wanted to express my appreciation to NewFiction for everything that you have done for me.
It is refreshing to know that NewFiction is willing to work with a first time writer such as myself.
As any writer would be, I was worried that you were going to edit my book to death. What I found was a more concise,
thoughtful, expression of what I was trying to say. What I appreciate the most is the fact that you kept me in the loop
through the entire process. It meant a lot.

I was eating rats and selling aluminum cans to buy Copenhagen, having bankrupted myself on postage sending queries to tunnel-visioned
agents in New York, when Newfiction found me. I was living in a shack that I made from rejection notices. The risk takers at
Newfiction believed in my novel, "Apologia of the Fat Cowboy", and have done a fantastic job formatting the work for this website.
The vocals are right on, and the creativity of their house is evident throughout.
How refreshing it is to finally talk to intelligent people who can look past a writer's disgusting personal habits to see a really cool story!!! They don't believe me when I tell them that, when I win the Pulitzer, I'm gonna take him to East Texas and we'll clean out a couple of biker bars.

New Fiction did for my novel, JAKE AND THE THREE JAMOKIES what a lot of writers dream of. The first thing he did was to put faces to the characters.
He didn’t do it arbitrarily, but sent me renditions done by artists and asked my opinion. In the publishing world I know authors are consulted…I guess.
I honestly don’t know. But in Hollywood, my background, they are not. Most producers and directors quietly hope the writer will pass away after the script
is procured, so they can attend the funeral, extend condolences, and then not have to listen to the creator of all they are about work on again.
And of course they’ll rewrite it and take credit. New Fiction includes the writer and respects what he/she has accomplished.
Then he put my book to audio. And again, sent me samples for my take on it. And then asked me to read a part.
This is almost unheard of in Hollywood! And the audio version isn’t one of those single voiced jobs where after a while you
fall asleep at the wheel, because one voice is droning on seemingly forever.
No, this is done ala old time radio, with real actors reading the parts, with sound effects, the “full monty.”
And, my work is getting out! People will read it and hear it! And in the end, that’s what we all want.

NewFiction did a professional job turning 'Senate Parking' into a viable commercial entity. I like it a lot .
'Senate Parking' will cause a lot of hits on your NewFiction website and I'll do whatever is necessary to promote the book.
I have always prayed that this would be a success. Now, it seems to have a very good chance. I don't know what else to say except
that I know you're putting your passion into this project and I'm grateful for it. When you're a guy who's spent considerable
time competing with "every vaselined asshole who owns a personal computer" (as Kurt Vonnegut put it), it is easy to get discouraged.
Now, this passionate energy going into 'Senate Parking' is bringing me back to life. Keep up the good work.
I'm sure there is a great market for the final product.

It was a pleasure to work with NewFiction. I particularly appreciated the independence
they gave me in the creative process.
